Livewire Chat Assistant smart_toy

A simple example of using Livewire for an interactive chat assistant on your web site.

This example uses Polling at regular intervals (3 seconds) to check for new messages posted by the other party. Although there can be a short delay and the interface is not as responsive as it could be, it is a simple solution that requires little extra work.

The front end is Tailwind CSS with a little Alpine JS to scroll the window down to the latest message when needed.
